

THE BIG REVEAL FOR EXETER MURAL
After four years in the planning and six months in production a new Exeter Mural made its debut on 19th January creating quite a buzz

Well done to the team that painted the mural, in 12 days including Paul, Harry and Dexter with support from Betty. Crossline is an Exeter soup kitchen that provides a lifeline to people almost every day of the week. Al Gibson visited the premises and chatted
Designed by Paul Colsell our logo represents the people of our city putting their arms around those who need support from our local soup kitchen to orphaned children in Africa. The mural is a project of Kondanani UK in collaboration with other local charities/ organisations.
Paul Colsell is a veteran artist who has worked in media all his life. He will brave 10m scaffolding on the Exeter Crossline Building to create this iconic mural that celebrates kindness in the city.
Charlie Mackesy is the author and illustrator of the best selling book, ‘The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse’. The Animated Story was aired on BBC over Christimas. Charlie has kindly granted us permission to reproduce one of his best known illustrations which will in effect be the largest in the world to date
